Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 863822  Size: SH
  1. On Coupe vehicles, remove the inserts from the rear seat console.
  2. Remove the rear seat console screws and remove the rear seat console.

  3. Object Number: 867848  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion by pushing rearward and upward at the retainer locations to disengage the seat cushion retainer.
  5. Push the center seat belt buckles through the seat cushion.

  6. Object Number: 867999  Size: SH
  7. Remove the center belt/buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Important: Apply Loctite 242®, or equivalent, on all restraint fasteners prior to installation.

  1. Install the seat belt/buckle to the floor pan stud with the nut ensuring that the replacement belts are placed in original locations.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat center seat belts bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install rear seat cushion routing rear seat belt/buckle units through slits in seat cushion.
  4. 2.1. Route the rear seat belt/buckle units through the slits in the rear seat cushion.
    2.2. Align the rear seat cushion over the lower retainers.
    2.3. Push down and rearward to secure the rear seat cushion retainers.
    2.4. Pull up on the cushion to verify it is secure.
    2.5. Ensure the belts are not twisted.

  5. On Coupe, install the rear seat console fasteners.
  6. On Coupe, install the rear seat console inserts.
