Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 864702 Size: SH
  1. Remove the license plate lamps. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid center panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Outer Panel .
  3. Place the panel on a surface that will not damage the painted panel.
  4. Disengage the clips by exerting pressure on the locking tab and moving the top to bottom crosscar.
  5. Remove the center reflex.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 864702 Size: SH
  1. Align the guide tabs on the center reflex with the guide holes in the compartment lid outer panel.
  2. Apply hand pressure at the clips until the locking tab on the center reflex engages to the tang on the compartment lid outer panel.
  3. Visually inspect that the locking tabs are engaged to the tangs in the compartment lid outer panel.
  4. Install the compartment lid outer panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Outer Panel .
  5. Install the license plate lamps. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
