Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 878899 Size: SH
  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the screws and the lower sunroof switch/console assembly.
  3. Disconnect the harness from the motor.
  4. Remove the screws and remove the sunroof motor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Notice: Do not pull the motor in with the attaching screws as this may result in damage to the drive cables.

    Important: If the motor has been turned, or if the sunroof glass position has changed, the motor must be re-timed to the sunroof module. Refer to Sunroof Motor Synchronization .

  1. Install the sunroof motor and connect it to the harness using the screws.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the sunroof motor-to-sunroof module to 3-4 N·m (27-35 lb in).

  2. Install the sunroof/console assembly with the screws.
  3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
