Removal Procedure
- Remove the rocker cover panel. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
- Remove the retaining bolt from the front lower quarter panel attached to the rocker cover support.
- Drill out rivets using a 7.5 mm (9/64 in) size drill bit and remove the rocker cover support. If left side, remove the front and/or rear of the rocker cover support.
- Using a telescoping magnet with a swivel head, remove the remainder of the rivets from inside the rocker cavity.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rocker cover support by first installing the net locating rivet to ensure proper location.
- Install the remaining rivets.
- Install the retaining bolt in the front lower quarter panel attached to the rocker cover support.
- Install the rocker cover panel. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
