Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 863648 Size: MH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
  3. Remove the underhood fuse block (UHFB) fasteners.
  4. Turn UHFB over and open the fuse block case.

    5. Object Number: 863659 Size: SH
  5. Remove the connectors: (1-6).
  6. Remove the UHFB from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 863659 Size: SH
  1. Connect the connectors (1-6) to the fuse block.

    2. Object Number: 863648 Size: MH
  2. Route the UHFB harnesses: (A) Forward Lamp, (B) Engine, (C) Instrument Panel into fuse block case.
  3. Close and latch the fuse block case.
  4. Position the UHFB into place.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the UHFB fasteners.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the underhood fuse block fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  6. Connect the positive battery cable.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
