Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 866368 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
  3. Remove the left and right lower trim panel extension by pulling outward at the dual-lock locations.
  4. Rotate the panels outward to disengage hinges from the console.

    5. Object Number: 863721 Size: SH
  5. Remove the connectors (1-3).

    6. Object Number: 863542 Size: SH
  6. Remove the nut holding the instrument panel fuse block (IPFB) in place.
  7. Remove the IPFB from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 863542 Size: SH
  1. Align the IPFB in place.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nut to hold the IPFB in place.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the I/P fuse block-to-H-brace nut to 2.2 N·m (20 lb in).

  3. Install the connectors (1-3).

    4. Object Number: 866368 Size: SH
  4. Install the left and right lower trim panel extensions.
    5. 4.1. Insert the extension panel hinges into the console.
    4.2. Close the extension panel.
    4.3. Push the extension panel at the dual-lock locations to secure in place.
  5. Connect the positive battery cable.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
