These two lights will come on while you are starting your engine. If the lights do not come on, then have the electrical system checked by your Saturn retailer. If either of these two lights come on while your vehicle is running, refer to Engine Coolant .
Low coolant Level Warning Light: If this light comes on and stays on, the level of coolant in the coolant surge tank is low.
High Engine Coolant Temperature/Automatic Transaxle Fluid Temperature Warning Light: If this light comes on and stay on, you could have one or both of the following two conditions:
• | Overheated engine coolant |
• | Overheated automatic transaxle fluid |
If the "High Engine Coolant Temperature/Automatic Transaxle Temperature Warning Lamp" illuminates, you should stop your vehicle and turn the engine off as soon as possible. Call your Saturn retailer for assistance.
