Slide the head restraint up or down so that the top of the restraint is closest to the tip of your ears. This position reduces the change of a neck injury in a crash.

There are four positions available. When the head restraint is raised to the highest position, it locks into place. To lower the head restraint from this position, you must push the release button towards the rear of the vehicle and push the restraint downward.
