Notice: The axle shaft deflector ring is designed to aid the transaxle seal from dirt and water intrusion. Important: If an axle shaft deflector ring is removed, a new deflector ring must be installed. Do not re-use axle shaft deflector rings that have been previously installed. If an axle shaft deflector ring is damaged, it should be replaced. Do not attempt to repair damaged deflector rings.
