Removal Procedure
- Raise the hood to the open position. Support the hood with a prop rod.
- Remove the retainer clips by inserting a trim tool between the clip head and the insulator and prying the clips out.
- Remove the hood insulator.
Installation Procedure
- Position the front of the insulator under the retainer tabs located at the front center of the hood inner panel.
- Install two center clips to hold the insulator in position by positioning clip through insulator and pushing into holes in the hood inner panel.
- Align the insulator as necessary. Install the remainder of the clips.
- Lower the prop rod and close the hood.
