With the vehicle properly located and loaded (the same as for the headlamp aim inspection) switch on the fog lamps and observe the location of the high intensity zone on the screen.

The horizontal aim is not adjustable on this vehicle. The vertical aim is done using the adjusting screw located at the top outboard side of the fog lamp. To prepare the vehicle:

1. If other service has been performed on the vehicle, make sure all of the components are in place.
2. Make sure the vehicle has 1/2 tank of fuel or less.
3. Move the vehicle to a level area and park the vehicle 7.6 m (25 ft) away from the target screen.
4. Measure from the center of the fog lamp to the ground line.
5. Turn the fog lamps on; the top of the fog lamp beam image on the target screen should be 101.6 mm (4 in) below the center of the fog lamp lens height.
