Automatic and Manual Applications

Saturn Transaxle Fluid (Refer to "Saturn Parts Catalog" for correct part number).

All Models

Chassis lubricant (GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent) or lubricant meeting requirements of NLGI Grade 2, category LB or GC-LB.

All Models with Power Steering

Saturn P/N 21007583 or GM Power Steering Fluid, GM P/N 1052884 (16 oz.) or 01050017 (32 oz.) or an equivalent fluid meeting GM specification 9985010.

All Models

Lubricate with light oil or a graphite lubricant. (Do not use aerosols.)

Pivots and Spring Anchor	Lubricate with SAE 5w-30 engine oil. (Do not use aerosols.)
Release Pawl	Lubricate with chassis grease meeting requirements of NLGI Grade 2, Category LB (GM P/N 1052497) or equivalent.
