| 2007 and Prior HUMMER H2, H3 |
Overview
In an attempt to make information on GM Technical Training more accessible, a new type of Service Bulletin has been created. Service Training bulletins will be issued on an as-needed basis to inform you of upcoming additions and changes to the GM Training
curriculum.
Bulletin Banner Titles
There are three new bulletin banners available to support GM Technical Training. The three new classifications are as follows:
| This title will be used to introduce new courses, changes or additions to existing courses, and the implementation of new teaching methods. |
• | General GM STC Information: |
| This banner will be used to relay general information about the GM Service Technical College. This may include training initiatives, enrollment information, contests, etc. |
| The certification banner will be used to announce changes in required curriculum supporting the various available GM technician certification programs. This type of bulletin may be issued most
frequently during the first months of the calendar year so that you may be better able to align your training schedule for the year with the ever changing requirements. |
All of the above GM Training communications will include the affected course number (in the Title line), the division(s) affected, and the Purpose/Overview of the announcement. Within the bulletin you will be referred to a numbered program letter that
contains full disclosure of the total course requirements and the specific topics covered.
Bulletin Number Structuring
GM Training Bulletins will be issued with an SI section and subsection number that corresponds to the subject of the training class. So for example: class information about new SRS (Supplemental Restraints Systems) would be issued under Section 9-
Restraints, Subsection 115-SRS.
GM Training on the Web
In most of these communications, you will be directed to the GM Training Website at www.gmtraining.com
for complete information. Additionally you will be provided a search string and program letter number, such as:
Please search under Resources>Communications>Program Letter 07-001 for more information on the website.
