Your Saturn is equipped with split fold-down rear seatbacks. This feature is designed to increase the cargo area of your Saturn. The sedan and coupe models allow either section to be lowered independently. To fold down each section (right or left) of the seatback in a coupe or sedan, pull on the strap on the corner of the seatback.

The station wagon is designed to allow the right side rear seatback to be lowered independently. To fold down the right section, pull on the strap on the corner of the seatback.

To lower the station wagon full rear seatback, push downward on the push knob located in the center of the rear seatback.

When you fold the seatback up, be sure the latches engage by pushing rearward with your hand over the latch locations. Then pull on the seatback to endure that all latches are secure.
