ACTION

NORMAL RESULTS

•	Start the engine and allow to idle in PARK.

•	Neutral w/manual transaxle

•	Apply the park brake.

•	The high beam and low beam headlamps are OFF.

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is OFF.

•	Release the park brake.

•	Move the transaxle out of PARK (P) (Automatic).

•	The headlamps are ON at reduced brilliance (DRL mode).

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is ON.

•	Move the headlamp dimmer switch to LOW.

•	Turn the headlamp switch to HEAD.

•	The high beam headlamps are OFF.

•	The low beam headlamps are ON.

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is OFF.

Move the headlamp dimmer switch to HIGH.

•	The high beam headlamps and high beam indicator are ON.

•	The low beam headlamps are OFF.

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is OFF.

Turn headlamp switch to OFF.

•	The headlamps are ON at reduced brilliance.

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is ON during the day with the A/C OFF.

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

The headlamps are OFF.

Move the headlamp switch to PARK.

•	The park lamps are ON.

•	The headlamps are ON at reduced brilliance (DRL mode).

The daytime running will operate normally during the day.

System Check - With Fog Lamps

ACTION

NORMAL RESULTS

•	Start the engine and allow it to idle.

•	Move the gear selector to any position except PARK (P).

•	The fog lamp switch is OFF.

•	Apply the park brake.

•	The fog lamps, high beam headlamps, and low beam headlamps are OFF.

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is OFF.

Release the park brake.

•	The headlamps and fog lamps are OFF.

•	The headlamps are ON at reduced brilliance (DRL mode).

•	The daytime running lamps indicator is ON.

•	Move the headlamp switch to HEAD.

•	Move the fog lamp switch ON.

•	The headlamp dimmer switch is in HIGH.

•	The high beam headlamps and high beam indicator are ON.

•	The low beam headlamps and fog lamps are OFF.

•	Move the headlamp dimmer switch to LOW.

•	Move the fog lamp switch to ON.

•	The low beam headlamps and fog lamps are ON.

•	The high beam headlamps and high beam indicator are OFF.

•	Move headlamp switch to PARK.

•	Fog lamp switch is still ON.

•	The headlamps are OFF.

•	The fog lamps are ON.

Turn the ignition switch OFF.

Headlamps and fog lamps are OFF.
