1. Open the decklid/liftgate.
2. Remove the retaining screws from the taillamp using T15 Torx™ bit.
3. Slide the taillamp to unlock and remove it from the quarter panel.

(If you have an SC1 or SC2, grasp on the front corner of the tail lamp and pull straight back to unlock and remove it from the quarter panel.)

4. Depress the tab on the socket assembly with your index finger and rotate 1/8 of a turn counter-clockwise.
5. Remove the bulb from the socket assembly by gently pushing the bulb downward and rotating it 1/8 of a turn counterclockwise. Replace with an appropriate bulb.
