Warranty Admin. - Restriction on Battery Warranty Claims

Effective with claims submitted on or after October 3, 2005* (regardless of repair order date), any battery replacement (labor operation N0110) with 100 miles (160 km) or less on the odometer must be authorized by your Facility Consultant (in Canada, Service Consultant). These claims should contain a good explanation of the battery failure in "Tech Comments."
Important: Refer to section 2.3.2b of the Saturn Service Policies and Procedures Manual for battery maintenance requirements for new vehicle inventories.
*For GM of Canada retailers, this policy became effective September 20, 2004.
