Procedure for the Removal and Installation of the Sunroof Switch Assembly

The sunroof switch assembly removal and installation procedure in the Saturn service manuals state that the headliner must be removed to gain access to the sunroof switch assembly. This information is incorrect.

In the future, for sunroof switch removal and installation, use the procedure included with this bulletin.

Sunroof Switch assembly

1. Remove the map lamp bezel.



2. Depress the tabs on the sunroof switch assembly to remove it from the overhead console.
3. Disconnect the wire connector from the sunroof switch assembly and remove the sunroof switch assembly.

1. Connect the wire connector to the sunroof switch assembly.
2. Position the sunroof switch assembly to the overhead roof console and push the sunroof switch assembly into the overhead console.
3. Install the map lamp bezel.

To receive credit for this repair during the warranty coverage period, submit a claim through the Saturn Dealer System using the appropriate Electronic Labor Guide and Labor Operation Code N2460 (Switch Replace -- Sunroof Control).
