FUNCTION

NORMAL RESULTS

(press) LOCK

All doors lock. Security System will arm, Dome lamp will flash twice and horn will chirp once. If Security System is disabled, dome lamp illuminates for 2 seconds, and then goes out.

(press) UNLOCK

Driver's door unlocks, horn will chirp twice and the dome lamp will turn ON, with dome lamp switch in DOOR position. Pressing unlock again within 5 seconds unlocks the remaining doors. The dome lamp illuminates for 40 seconds, or until a door is opened, at which time the dome lamp will remain ON but will be controlled by the door jamb switch. The dome lamp switch must be in the DOOR position.

(press) DECKLID/LIFTGATE RELEASE

Ignition turned OFF. Decklid/liftgate will unlock and the dome lamp will illuminate for 40 seconds, or until a door is opened, at which time the dome lamp will be controlled by the door jamb switch. Decklid/liftgate release will also operate with ignition ON, as long as vehicle speed equals zero. Decklid/liftgate release is disabled when vehicle speed is greater than zero.

(press) RED PANIC

Horn will sound and dome lights will flash. Horn and dome lamps will continue to cycle until PANIC button is pressed again or 2 minutes have passed, whichever occurs first.

PASSIVE ARMING MODE

Important: Passive arming mode does not lock the doors.

•	Ignition switch turned from RUN to LOCK, and a door is opened, then closed. Security System will arm 1 minute after the doors are closed, DRL lights will flash once to verify the system has armed. The security telltale will also flash.

•	Ignition switch turned from RUN to LOCK and a door is not opened. Security System will arm 10 minutes after the ignition was turned to LOCK position.
