Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 867929  Size: SH

    Important: SC1/SL/SL1/SW1 have a rear seat cushion cover that has an integral pad. The cover and pad cannot be serviced separately. The rear cushion frame is serviced separately.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Cut the hog rings attaching the outer perimeter of the seat pad/cover unit to the seat cushion frame.
  3. Cut the hog rings at the seat belt pass through locations.
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion pad/cover unit from the seat cushion frame.
  5. Remove the cloth covered listing wire from the old seat cushion pad/cover unit.

Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer the cloth covered listing wire from the old seat cushion pad/cover unit to the new pad/cover unit.
  2. Center the seat pad/cover unit over the seat cushion frame. Align allof the listing wires with the attaching locations of the frame.
  3. Beginning at the center of the cover, hog ring the pad/cover unit listing wires to the seat frame at all of the same hog ring locations that attached the original cover.
  4. Push the seat belt buckle pass through the flaps and through the cushion pad.
  5. Hog ring the pass through the cover material to the seat frame at the same locations that attached the original cover.
  6. Check the fit of the pad/cover unit and pull on the cover where necessary to remove any wrinkles.
  7. Install the rear seat cushion to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
