Rear Seat Back Cushion Cross Bar Replacement Wagon

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 867327  Size: MH
  1. Lower the right side seat back, then remove the left side rear seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement .
  2. Place the rear seat back assembly on a clean work area.
  3. Using a small flat-blade tool, carefully remove the end cap fasteners and remove the end cap.

  5. Using a small flat-blade tool, carefully remove the seat back beam cover fasteners and remove the cover.
  6. Remove the seat back beam cover fasteners and remove the seat back beam cover.
  7. Remove the seat back beam fasteners and remove the beam assembly.
  8. Remove the passenger side seat back beam front cover by prying at the cover edge to disengage the cover from the beam.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the passenger side seat back beam front cover to the right side front location of the beam assembly by lifting the edge of the cover over the beam assembly.
  2. Place the seat back beam onto the rear seat back assembly aligning the holes in the beam with the seat back studs. Snug the attaching nuts enough to hold the seat back beam in place.
  3. Latch and unlatch the seat back assembly three to four times to adjust the beam on the rear seat back assembly. Insure smooth operation.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Tighten the attaching nuts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear folding seat back beam fasteners to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat back beam rear cover to the seat back beam assembly with the push type fasteners.
  8. Install the rear seat back assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement .
  9. Check the seat back latch function after installation.
