Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 860748 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screw from the center of the inside door handle assembly.
  2. Slide the door handle assembly forward while pulling outward from the trim panel.
  3. Using a thin screwdriver, disengage the rods from the retainers.
  4. If equipped with power door locks, remove the power door lock switch by releasing the retaining tabs and disconnect the connector from the switch assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the power door lock switch, if equipped, and install the wiring connector.
  2. Position the door handle assembly into the trim panel. Tip the handle outward at the top.
  3. Lift the rods into the retainers and latch the retainer clamps.
  4. Push the handle into the trim panel and slide rearward to engage the tangs.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the screw in the handle. Tighten the screw.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the front door inside release handle fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
