Caution: It is imperative that the rear door stabilizer pin is properly installed in order to return vehicle to compliance with the MVSS.

Remove the rear door stabilizer pin.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Install the pin into the door assembly and tighten.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door stabilizer pin (Sedan/Wagon) to 30 N·m (22 lb in).
