Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 996486 Size: SH
  1. Remove the control lever knob retainer.
  2. Remove the control lever knob.
  3. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement removal procedure in this section.
  4. Remove the indicator bulb by rotating the bulb one-quarter turn and pulling out.

    5. Object Number: 944101 Size: SH
  5. Using a screwdriver, remove the PRNDL face and the bracket by depressing on the tabs. Replace if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 944101 Size: SH
  1. Install the PRNDL assembly onto the shifter assembly.

    2. Object Number: 945404 Size: SH
  2. Install the indicator bulb by inserting and rotating one-quarter turn.
  3. Insert the console. Refer to Console Replacement installation procedure in this section.
  4. Install the control lever knob.

  5. Install the control lever knob retainer.
