Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 943463 Size: SH
  1. Open the lift gate.
  2. Remove the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Using a pick type tool, depress the lift gate lock cylinder release button on the bottom side of the lift gate outside handle.

    4. Object Number: 943461 Size: SH
  4. Remove the lift gate lock cylinder from the outside handle and disconnect the lock cylinder rod from the cylinder lever.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 943461 Size: SH
  1. Install the lift gate lock cylinder gasket, if removed.
  2. Connect the lock cylinder rod to the lock cylinder lever.
  3. Install the lift gate lock cylinder to the outside handle.
  4. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Close the lift gate.
