Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 956256 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect mass air flow (MAF) harness connector.
  3. Loosen air induction clamp from MAF sensor and remove air induction tube from sensor.
  4. Remove MAF sensor fastener nuts and remove sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install MAF sensor to air cleaner box and install attachment nuts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the mass air flow sensor nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Install air induction tubing to MAF sensor and install air induction clamp.
  3. Connect MAF sensor harness connector. Push connector in until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement.
