Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1227050 Size: SH
  1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the catalytic converter-to-heat shield bolts.
  3. Remove the heat shield.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1227050 Size: SH
  1. Install the heat shield.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the catalytic converter heat shield bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the front catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side .
