Removal Procedure

    Important: Adjust the values only when the cylinder head temperature is less than 38°C (100°F).

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Removal .
  2. Remove the valve rocker arm covers. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Left Side or Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Adjust the values. Refer to Valve Lash Adjustment .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the valve rocker arm covers. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Left Side or Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Removal .
