Removal Procedure
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Loosen the drive belt tensioner by rotating the tensioner pulley clockwise while sliding the drive belt off the tensioner.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Clean and inspect the serpentine drive belt surfaces.
Installation Procedure
- Route the belt around all pulleys, except the tensioner .
- Rotate the tensioner pulley clockwise and install the drive belt .
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
Important: Ensure that the drive belt is aligned into the proper grooves on the drive pulley.
