Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1814349 Size: SH
  1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to one of the following:
    2. •  Catalytic Converter Replacement
    •  Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side

    Important: The exhaust and catalytic converter heat shields overlap and utilize common rivet attachment points.

  2. Drill out the catalytic converter heat shield rivets.
  3. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1814349 Size: SH
  1. Position the catalytic converter heat shield to the underbody.
  2. Install NEW catalytic converter heat shield rivets.
  3. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to one of the following:
    4. •  Catalytic Converter Replacement
    •  Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side
