Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement 2.2L (L61) and 2.4L (LAT)

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1631764 Size: SH
  1. Remove the exhaust manifold nuts.
  2. Remove the exhaust manifold.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1631387 Size: SH
  1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (1).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield studs (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the studs to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
