Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2007 🢒 VUE - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.5L (L66) 🢒 Oil Pump Suction Pipe and Screen Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Drain the engine oil.

    3. Object Number: 1236204 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1236181 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil pipe bolts.
  5. Remove the oil pipe screen assembly.
  6. Remove the oil pipe O-ring. Discard.
  7. Clean the gasket surfaces.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1236181 Size: SH
  1. Install a NEW oil pump pipe O-ring.
  2. Install the oil pipe screen assembly.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the oil pump pipe bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Refill the engine with 4.73 L (5 qt) of oil.
  7. Start the vehicle and inspect for leaks and correct oil pressure.
