Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2007 🢒 VUE - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.5L (L66) 🢒 Oil Pan Installation

    Object Number: 896998 Size: SH
  1. Clean and dry the oil pan mating surfaces.
  2. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346240 (Canadian P/N 10953493), or equivalent, evenly to the oil pan mating surface (1) of the engine block.

    3. Object Number: 896997 Size: SH
  3. Install the pins (402).
  4. Install the oil pan (400).

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the bolts (409).

    6. Object Number: 896999 Size: SH
  6. Tighten the bolts.

    7. Tighten

    1. Tighten the bolts in sequence a first pass to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
    2. Tighten the bolts in sequence a final pass to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
