    • EN 46334 Camshaft Oil Seal Driver
    • EN 46337 Camshaft Sprocket/Crankshaft Balancer Holder

    Object Number: 897133  Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the camshaft journals and bores with clean engine oil.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the camshaft (209), NEW O-ring (210), cap (211) and bolts (212).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  5. Use the EN 46334 in order to install the seal (223) into the cylinder head. Rotate the bolt clockwise until the tool bottoms in the cylinder head bore.

  6. Object Number: 897132  Size: SH
  7. Install the camshaft position (CMP) sensor (700) and bolt (723).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  9. Install the cover (244), NEW seal (243) and bolts (242).
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  11. Install the sprocket (241) and bolt (240).

  12. Object Number: 897127  Size: SH
  13. Use the EN 46337 in order to retain the camshaft sprocket.
  14. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 90 N·m (67 lb ft).

  15. Rotate the camshaft to align the number 1 cylinder top dead center (TDC) mark on the sprocket (2) with the pointer on the rear cover (1).
