Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 928836 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Liftgate Lock Cylinder Replacement.
  4. Disconnect the outside handle swing over clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Remove the liftgate outside handle bolts.
  6. Remove the liftgate handle from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 928836 Size: SH
  1. Position the liftgate handle to the liftgate.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts to the liftgate handle.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the liftgate handle bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Reconnect the outside handle swing over clip to the outside handle rod.
  4. Install the lock cylinder. Refer to Liftgate Lock Cylinder Replacement.
  5. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
  6. Close the liftgate.
