Change Engine Oil: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the CHANGE ENGINE OIL indicator as commanded by the BCM. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting .

Engine Coolant Temperature: Refer to Cooling System Description and Operation .

Hybrid Fuel Economy: The Hybrid Fuel Economy indicator notifies the driver when the vehicle is achieving better than normal fuel economy. The indicator illuminates in the IPC when the ECM detects the vehicle is achieving a better than normal fuel economy and sends a serial data message to the IPC to turn the indicator ON. This indicator can be disabled or enabled from the DIC switch (stem) when SET ECO HOLD is displayed by choosing ON or OFF.

Liftgate Ajar: Refer to Rear Hatch/Gate Description and Operation .

Low Coolant: Refer to Cooling System Description and Operation .

Low Fuel: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the Low Fuel indicator when the IPC detects that the fuel level is less than a pre-determined value.

Low Oil Pressure: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the engine oil pressure indicator when the engine control module (ECM) detects low engine oil pressure.

MIL: Refer to Engine Control Module Description for the 2.2L engine or Powertrain Control Module Description for the 3.5L engine.

Reduced Engine Power: Refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 2.2L engine, Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 2.4L engine, or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 3.5L engine.

Security: Refer to Theft Systems Description and Operation .

Service Vehicle Soon: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the service vehicle soon indicator during any of the following conditions:

•	The body control module (BCM) detects a security failure.

•	The BCM detects a malfunction in the Passive Trunk Release System.

•	The BCM detects a failure in the Traction Control System.

•	The IPC detects a mismatch between its part number and the vehicle platform configuration.

•	When certain malfunctions that are not related to the emissions system are detected by the BCM.

Traction Off: Refer to ABS Description and Operation .

Turn Signals: Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation .

Upshift Indicator: The body control module (BCM) receives serial data message from the engine control module (ECM) when the ECM determines that the vehicle should be shifted to the next higher gear. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the shift indicator.
