Hybrid Fuel Economy: The Hybrid Fuel Economy indicator notifies the driver when the vehicle is achieving better than normal fuel economy. The indicator illuminates in the IPC when the ECM detects the vehicle is achieving a better than normal fuel economy and sends a serial data message to the IPC to turn the indicator ON. This indicator can be disabled or enabled from the DIC switch (stem) when SET ECO HOLD is displayed by choosing ON or OFF.

Service Vehicle Soon: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the service vehicle soon indicator during any of the following conditions:

    • The body control module (BCM) detects a security failure.
    • The BCM detects a malfunction in the Passive Trunk Release System.
    • The BCM detects a failure in the Traction Control System.
    • The IPC detects a mismatch between its part number and the vehicle platform configuration.
    • When certain malfunctions that are not related to the emissions system are detected by the BCM.
