Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 964637 Size: SH
  1. Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement.
  2. Remove the compartment latch screws.
  3. Remove the latch and rod assembly from the compartment door handle assembly.
  4. Remove the U-clip from the handle assembly.
  5. Remove the handle assembly from the compartment.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 964637 Size: SH
  1. Position the handle assembly to the I/P compartment door.
  2. Install the U-clip.
  3. Position the latch and rod assembly to the compartment door.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the latch screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement.
