The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The HVAC mode door is slow to change, It may take about 20 - 30 seconds before the mode door changes. This can happen if the mode door binds. If a move is commanded and it does not happen, it will stop for 20 seconds and then try again. This concern may be intermittent and is more likely to happen when the HVAC case gets hot.

Replace the Evaporator Case Assembly. This is listed in the parts catalog as "CASE ASM-A/C EVRP".

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
