For 1990-2009 cars only
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.
- Ensure vehicle is off.
- Remove oil fill cap on top of transmission.
- Start vehicle.
- Idle engine in Park (P) for 5 minutes to ensure damper is full.
- Move PRNDL to Park (P) and wait for transmission to heat up to 30-50 °C (86-122 °F).
- Move PRNDL through Neutral (N), Drive (D), Park (P) and Reverse (R) 2 times.
- Move PRNDL to Park (P).
- Remove oil setting plug (225).
- Allow oil to drain until it becomes a slow drip. If no oil drains add a .5 L (.52 Qts) until oil drips slowly from plug (225).
- Reinstall oil setting plug (225).
- Turn vehicle off.
- Reinstall oil fill cap.
- Total oil approximately 8.9 L (9.4 Qts).
