Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Support Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2158346 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
  3. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (2) from the thermal bypass valve.

    4. Object Number: 2158345 Size: SH
  4. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1).
  5. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2).
  6. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe nut (3)
  7. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe bolt (4)
  8. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (5) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2158345 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (5) to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe bolt (4) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
  3. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe nut (3) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2).
  5. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1)and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

    6. Object Number: 2158346 Size: SH
  6. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (2) to the thermal bypass valve.
  7. Connect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
  8. Install the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Support Replacement.
