Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 931349 Size: SH
  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the battery box. Refer to Battery Cooling Box removal procedure in the Starting and Charging section of this service manual.
  3. Remove the return hose clamp and return hose from the tank.

    4. Object Number: 931368 Size: SH
  4. Remove the return hose clamp and return hose from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 931368 Size: SH
  1. Install the return hose and clamp to the engine port.
  2. Position the clamp at 7 o'clock.

    3. Object Number: 931349 Size: SH
  3. Install the return hose and clamp to the surge tank.
  4. Position the clamp at 7 o'clock.
  5. Install the battery box/UHJB assembly. Refer to Battery Cooling Box removal procedure in the Starting and Charging section of this manual.
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
