- Assemble the camshaft cover and NEW gasket. Ensure that the gasket is located in the retaining groove in the camshaft cover.
- Install the cover on the cylinder head and hand start the bolts.
- Install the front lift bracket and bolt.
- Install the rear lift bracket and bolts.
- Install the ground strap and bolt.
- Install the spark plugs.
- Install the ignition coil and module assembly to the cam cover.
- Install the cam cover bolts.
- Install the power steering pump and bolts.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Tighten the camshaft cover bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Tighten the front lift bracket bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
