The fuel tank pressure sensor is located on top of the fuel pump module cover.

1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .

Important: The fuel pump pressure sensor has a tight ribbed rubber seal. Care must be taken when removing from the secondary fuel pump module.

2. Gently pry under the fuel pump pressure sensor from 2 separate sides in order to equally pull the sensor from the module.
3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the secondary fuel pump module.

Important: To facilitate installation of the tank pressure sensor into its mounting boss on the fuel pump module cover, lightly lubricate the multi-ribbed seal on the tank pressure sensor. A drop of clean engine oil is sufficient.

1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor from the secondary fuel pump module.
2. Gently push the fuel pump pressure sensor into the secondary fuel pump module. The ribbed rubber seal must seat into the boss of the secondary fuel pump module for the sensor to seal correctly.
3. Install the fuel tank from the vehicle. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
