SMU - Service Information Regarding the Engine Control Module Connector and Terminal Locations on Saturn V6 Vehicles

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide ECM connector locations for the J1 and J2 connectors.

Please obtain all 2000-2001 L-Series Engine L81 and Body Electrical Volume II, 2002-2003 L-Series Powertrain Electrical Diagnostics and Body Electrical Diagnostics, 2002-2003 VUE Powertrain Electrical Diagnostics and Body Electrical Diagnostics manuals and update as indicated below.

1. Copy page 2 of this bulletin and insert the copied page in the Engine/Emissions Controls Section of the 2000 and 2001 L-Series Engine L81 Service Manuals.
2. Copy page 2 of this bulletin and insert the copied pages between pages 488 and 489 and between pages 492 and 493 of the 2000 L-Series Body Electrical (Volume II) Service Manual.
3. Copy page 2 of this bulletin and insert the copied pages between pages 506 and 507 and between pages 510 and 511 of the 2001 L-Series Body Electrical (Volume II) Service Manual.
4. Copy page 2 of this bulletin and insert the copied page in the Engine/Emission Controls (6-Cylinder) section of the 2002-2003 L-Series Powertrain Electrical Diagnostics Service Manual.
5. Copy page 2 of this bulletin and insert the copied pages between pages 682 and 683 and between pages 686 and 687 of the 2002-2003 L-Series Body Electrical Diagnostics Service Manual.
