Condition
Some customers may comment on a vehicle vibration with the transmission in park when the vehicle is parked on an incline.
Cause
This condition may be caused by insufficient damping of the transaxle mounts when excessively loaded.
Correction
Replace the front and rear transaxle mounts with the new third design mounts (P/N 22716726 - Front Transaxle Mount, P/N 22716366 - Rear Transaxle Mount) and perform a powertrain mount balance procedure. Refer to the "Mount Replacement and Powertrain Mount Balance" procedures in the 2002-2003 VUE Chassis Service Manual.
