SMU for 2002-2003 VUEs Regarding Incorrect Lower Control Arm Torque Specifications

The purpose of this bulletin is to update all 2002-2003 Saturn VUE Chassis Service Manuals. Current published torque specifications are incorrect.

Please obtain all of the 2002-2003 VUE Chassis Service Manuals located in Volume I and make necessary corrections indicated below:

Lower Control Arm Installation, pg. 428

Under number 2:

Torque: Control Arm-to-Frame Rear Nuts (2 per side) 70-N·m (52-ft-lbs).

Under number 3:

Torque: Control Arm-to-Frame Front Bolt (1 per side) 190-N·m (140-ft-lbs).
