Condition
Some customers may comment on a clear or tan color fluid dripping on the driver’s floormat or carpet.
Cause
This condition may be caused by excessive assembly lubricant (a lightweight oil) on the steering column housing.
Correction
Wipe the assembly lubricant off the steering column with a dry shop towel and clean the carpet if needed.
Claim Information
To receive credit for this repair during the warranty coverage period, submit a claim through the Saturn Dealer System for E7003 (Column, Steering-Clean).
