Info - Revised VT25E (Vti) Spacer Plate Available

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Saturn Retailers of the availability of a revised spacer plate that has been placed in production. This revised spacer plate, P/N 24226386 , is interchangeable with all past models equipped with a VT25E transaxle and supersedes all previous spacer plate versions (P/N 24221767, 24221858, 24220357).

This spacer plate may be installed if removing the control valve body for other servicing or if diagnostics indicate that the existing spacer plate needs replacement.

The changes are indicated by arrows in the illustration below. Figure 1 (on the left) is the previous design spacer plate, and Figure 2 (on the right) is the revised spacer plate.

Important: This spacer plate should only be installed if the control valve body is being removed for other service procedures or if diagnostics indicate that the existing spacer plate needs replacement.
