Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

  2. Object Number: 934966  Size: SH
  3. Remove the underhood accessory wiring junction block cover (1).
  4. Remove the nut at the end of the fuse block and remove both the positive battery cable and the EPS cable (2).

  5. Object Number: 934982  Size: SH
  6. Loosen the bolts (1) on the top of the fuse block until the block can be lifted off the connectors.
  7. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) connectors (2).

  8. Object Number: 935025  Size: SH

    Important: All 3 fuse block 68-way connectors are held into place to the fuse block case by push-in retainers.

  9. Pull up on each of the following 68-way connectors until they come out.
  10. 6.1. Fuse block case
    6.2. Forward lamp 68-way connector
    6.3. Engine 68-way connector
    6.4. I/P 68-way connector

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 935000  Size: SH
  1. Install each of the following 68-way connectors into its proper location.
  2. • Fuse block case (1)
    • Forward lamp 68-way connector (2)
    • Engine 68-way connector (3)
    • I/P 68-way connector (4)
  3. Push down on each connector until it is fully secured into the fuse block.

  4. Object Number: 934982  Size: SH
  5. Connect the IP connectors (2)
  6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  7. Tighten the bolts (1) on the top of the fuse block.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness retaining bolts (1) to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  9. Reconnect the positive battery cable and EPS (2) at the end of the fuse block with the nut.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the positive battery cable nut to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  11. Install the fuse box cover (1).
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
