The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The PRNDL is inoperative and DTC P0705 is set. This can be caused by an open A/C CLUTCH fuse. The A/C CLUTCH fuse is used to power the A/C clutch relay and the back up lamp relay.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the "A/C CLUTCH" fuse for being open. If the fuse is open inspect the wiring for the A/C clutch and the back up lamps for a short. Repair any shorted wires as needed and replace the fuse.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
